Quick and Easy Sweet and Sour Sauce

    The easiest sweet and sour sauce which you can use with chicken, pork or prawns. Also good as a dipping sauce.

    Makes: 2 cups sauce

    • 1 (440g) tin crushed pineapple in juice
    • 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
    • 2 teaspoons brown sugar

    Preparation:5min  ›  Cook:10min  ›  Ready in:15min 

    1. Place the crushed pineapple with juice in a blender and add hoisin and sugar. Blend until smooth.
    2. Pour mixture into a saucepan and simmer 10 minutes. It is now ready to use. You can also freeze it for up to 2 months.
