Nutella Chocolate Ripple Tarts

How can something so easy to make, taste so good?

Makes: 12 tarts

  • 1 packet chocolate ripple biscuits
  • 1 jar Nutella
  • 100g cooking chocolate
  • crushed hazelnuts (if desired)

Preparation:10min  ›  Cook:5min  ›  Extra time:30min cooling  ›  Ready in:45min 

  1. Preheat oven to 170 degrees C.
  2. Place one biscuit over each hole in a half-rounded patty cake tin.
  3. Place in oven until just soft, about 5 minutes.
  4. Push biscuits into tin with your fingers creating a half round shape, then let cool.
  5. Place about 1 teaspoon Nutella in each biscuit.
  6. Melt chocolate in a heatproof bowl over a pot of boiling water, stirring till smooth.
  7. Using a teaspoon pour chocolate over top of Nutella to edges of biscuit.
  8. Sprinkle with crushed hazelnuts if desired. Allow to set.
