Sultana and Onion Jam

    This is a jam that is intended to be served with cooked meat, especially lamb, instead of mint jelly.

    Ingredients
    Serves: 4 

    • 1 tablespoon butter
    • 1 large onion, sliced
    • 1 tablespoon honey
    • 1 cup sultanas
    • 1 cup lamb or beef stock

    Directions
    Preparation:5min  ›  Cook:15min  ›  Ready in:20min 

    1. Melt butter in a small saucepan. Saute the onion until soft.
    2. Add honey, sultanas and stock. Cook over low heat until it thickens.
