Healthy Potato Wedges

This recipe makes crunchy oven baked potato wedges without fat or oil.

Serves: 4 

  • baking potatoes
  • 2-3 egg whites per potato, depending on the size of the wedges and eggs

Preparation:10min  ›  Cook:20min  ›  Ready in:30min 

  1. Preheat oven 220 degrees C (or 200 degrees C for fan forced).
  2. Cut potato into medium sized wedges, separate egg yolks from egg whites and lightly beat egg whites.
  3. Line baking pan/dish with baking paper. Dip wedges in beaten egg whites.
  4. Place wedges on baking paper covered pan/dish about a centimetre apart.
  5. Bake in preheated oven until golden brown.
  6. Serve with sweet chilli sauce or with low fat sour cream.


You can use Philidelphia cream instead of sour cream to make it even more low in fat.
