Delicious and fancy finger food, curried crabs are perfect for a dinner party. Use any small crabs you like, such as blue swimmers.

Serves: 4 

  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 5 tablespoons Thai green curry paste
  • 1 teaspoon Indian curry powder
  • 4 small crabs, cleaned and quartered
  • 2 spring onions, thinly sliced

Preparation:20min  ›  Cook:15min  ›  Ready in:35min 

  1. Heat the oil in a wok over high heat and stir fry the curry paste about 5 minutes until browned. Add the curry powder and stir.
  2. Reduce heat to medium and add the crabs, tossing to coat with the curry paste. Cover and cook 5 minutes. Toss again, cover and cook 5 more minutes.
  3. Serve garnished with spring onions.
