Dark Chocolate Cake Glaze

    Your basic chocolate cake glaze made with dark chocolate. It gets a little hard if chilled so serve the cake at room temperature.

    Serves: 8 

    • 90g dark chocolate, very finely diced
    • 1/3 cup thickened cream
    • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla essence

    1. Place finely diced chocolate in a mixing bowl. In a saucepan, heat the cream to a simmer. Add to chocolate. Stir until chocolate is smooth and melted. Stir in vanilla. Cover with plastic wrap and let cool 10 minutes before using.
