Very quick & easy flavoursome meal.

Serves: 4 

  • 1 kg heartsmart beef mince
  • 1 onion, finely diced
  • 1 egg
  • Worcestershire sauce
  • Tomato sauce
  • salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 cloves Garlic, finely chopped
  • plain flour, for dusting

Preparation:10min  ›  Cook:10min  ›  Ready in:20min 

  1. Hand mix all ingredients together thoroughly except for plain flour.
  2. Roll rissoles into balls and lightly coat in plain flour.
  3. Put onto BBQ or pan and lightly compress. (I prefer the BBQ.)
  4. Cook to your own requirements. ie: rare to well done.


Can add grated carrot if required. Add generous amounts of Worstershire and tomato sauce for flavour. Serve with mash potato, peas and carrots.
