This balsamic dressing has fresh basil and herbs in it so it will only keep for a couple of days in the fridge. Shake it up before using.

Makes: 1 cup dressing

  • 9 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup canola oil
  • 3 tablespoons fresh basil, diced
  • 3 tablespoons chives, diced

  1. Combine balsamic vinegar, honey and salt in a bowl. Slowly drizzle in the canola oil while whisking. Stir in the basil and chives. Pour into a jar and keep in the fridge.
