This is a great little biscuit recipe that if flavoured by coconut and golden syrup. Great for morning or afternoon tea.

Serves: 6 

  • 125g margarine
  • 125g sugar
  • 1 tablespoon coconut
  • 1 tablespoon golden syrup
  • 1 egg
  • 1 1/2 cups self raising flour

Preparation:10min  ›  Cook:15min  ›  Ready in:25min 

  1. Preheat the oven to 170 degrees C. Lightly grease a baking tray.
  2. Cream the butter and sugar. Add the coconut, golden syrup and egg then combine well. Sift in the flour and combine well.
  3. Roll the batter into small balls then press down with a fork.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 15 minutes or until cooked.
