Orange Cake with Chocolate Chips

This is a delightful cake that combines fresh orange with your favourite chocolate chips to make a delicious flavour.

- 125g butter
- 1/2 cup caster sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/2 cups cornflour
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 orange
- 50g grated dark chocolate

- Preheat an oven to 180 degrees C. Grease and line a ring tin.
- Cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time beating well each time.
- Sift the flour with the baking powder. Grate the zest from the orange then juice it.
- Add to the butter the flour and juice alternatively. Fold in the zest and chocolate.
- Bake for 40 minutes, then let the cakes sit in the tin for 5 minutes before turning out.
