This is an unusual crumble from the use of bananas to the unique topping of cornflakes, almonds, coconut and honey.

Serves: 4 

  • 3 medium bananas
  • 1 passionfruit
  • 1/2 cup cornflakes
  • 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 2 teaspoons flaked almonds, crushed
  • 2 teaspoons coconut
  • 2 teaspoons butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon honey

  1. Peel the bananas and cut diagonally into thick slices then combine with passionfruit pulp. Place the banana in the base of a three cup capacity ovenproof dish.
  2. Combine the cornflakes, cinnamon, almonds, coconut, butter and honey. Add over the top of the bananas.
  3. Bake in an oven at 180 degrees C for about 10 minutes or until the topping is brown and the bananas are cooked through.
