Tahini Spinach Smoothie

    This smoothie has an unusual but delicious flavour and is loaded with nutrients from the spinach and tahini.

    Serves: 1 

    • 1/4 cup apple juice
    • 1/2 cup baby spinach
    • 1 celery stalk, finely sliced
    • 1 tablespoon tahini
    • 1 banana, sliced
    • 1/2 cup ice

    1. Blend all the ingredients together until smooth. If you like, you can pour the liquid through a sieve to remove the fibres but I usually just drink it as is.
