This slushie takes a little bit of extra work because you have to cook the apple first but it's so worth it. Sometimes I add a little brandy too.

Serves: 1 

  • 1 Granny Smith apple, peeled and diced
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 teaspoons raw sugar
  • pinch cinnamon
  • pinch nutmeg
  • few drops vanilla essence
  • 1/2 cup ice

Preparation:5min  ›  Ready in:5min 

  1. Place all the ingredients in a saucepan and simmer over medium heat until the apple has softened and started to caramelise, about 7 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool.
  2. Place the mixture in a blender and puree. Add the ice and blend again until ice is crushed then serve immediately.
