Mint sauce is a great accompaniment to lamb, and with a bush gone wild I never have a reason not to make my own fresh sauce recipe at home.

Makes: 1 batch

  • 2 tablespoons caster sugar
  • 1/2 cup white vinegar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 bunch mint, leaves finely diced

Preparation:10min  ›  Cook:10min  ›  Ready in:20min 

  1. In a small saucepan combine the caster sugar, vinegar, water and half the mint. Bring to the boil and simmer for 5 minutes until it thickens slightly.
  2. Stir the remaining fresh mint leaves into the sauce.
