The best pizzas have only a few toppings as too much can make them soggy. This pizza is simply topped with prosciutto, fresh tomatoes and basil for bright summer flavours.

Makes: 1 pizza

  • 1 recipe pizza dough
  • 1 jar pizza sauce
  • 2 roma tomatoes
  • 2 slices prosciutto
  • 1 bunch fresh basil

Preparation:15min  ›  Cook:20min  ›  Ready in:35min 

  1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees C.
  2. Roll out or toss the pizza dough to fit your pizza pan, leaving the edges slightly thicker.
  3. Spread the pizza sauce over the dough up to about 1cm from the edge.
  4. Slice the prosciutto into strips and layer over the tomato sauce. Slice the tomatoes thinly and distribute over the pizza.
  5. Bake the pizza 20 minutes or until the edges are dark brown. Tear up the basil and scatter over the top then serve.
