No Sugar Chocolate Slice

    This is a great no sugar, no cook recipe I adapted from Sarah Wilson's "I Quit Sugar Cookbook", I've added a bit more sweetness to it without adding refined sugar.

    Serves: 4 

    • 2 1/2 cups nuts, chopped in food processor
    • 1/2 cup raw cacao powder
    • 2 big handfuls coconut
    • 3 big handfuls of sultanas
    • 150g butter, softened
    • 4-5 tablespoons coconut oil, melted
    • 1 teaspoon vanilla
    • 1 tablespoon almond meal (optional)
    • 1/2 jar almond spread

    1. Mix together nuts, almond meal, cacao, coconut, sultanas in a large bowl.
    2. Mix together the melted coconut oil, softened butter, vanilla and almond spread together and pour/spoon into the dry ingredients. Work it all together with a spoon or your hands. Add more almond meal if the mix is too wet.
    3. Once mixed well, spread into a lined slice tin. Slice once set, approximately an hour.
    4. Store in the fridge and enjoy!
