    This is a great breakfast or brunch to cook on the BBQ, especially if you have guests around and the kitchen frypan just seems too small to feed everyone.

    Serves: 1 

    • 1 slice bread per person
    • 1 tablespoon oil
    • 1 egg per person

    Preparation:5min  ›  Cook:10min  ›  Ready in:15min 

    1. Cut a hole in the bread. This can be done with a biscuit cutter, glass or similar.
    2. Heat the hotplate to medium temperature then rub down with oil. Add the bread separately; slice and hole. Crack the egg into the hole.
    3. Cook until you can see the egg is firm on bottom; about 3 minutes. Flip the bread with the egg in it onto the other side to finish cooking; about 2 minutes. Serve. (Cook longer if you like your eggs to be hard in the middle).
