This is a tasty yet simple recipe that gives a simple cabbage side dish a slight boost to make it a great side dish to any meal.

Serves: 4 

  • 3 cups chicken stock
  • 1/2 cabbage, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • salt and pepper to taste

Preparation:10min  ›  Cook:10min  ›  Ready in:20min 

  1. Bring the chicken stock to the boil then add the sliced cabbage and cook until soft but not mushy.
  2. Add the butter, salt and pepper to the cabbage then stir in with a knife further cutting down any larger pieces of cabbage.
