Chocolate Snow

    A decadent chocolate pudding made from milk, cocoa and eggs that uses gelatine to set. It is delicious served with a custard made from the unused egg yolks.

    • 2/3 cup sugar
    • 2 dessertspoons cocoa
    • 2 cups milk
    • 2 dessertspoons gelatine
    • 2 egg whites, stiffly beaten

    1. Heat sugar, cocoa and milk together in a saucepan. Dissolve gelatine then stir it in. Remove from heat and allow to cool.
    2. When cool, beat in stiffly beaten egg whites then pour into a bowl to set. Serve with a custard made from the egg yolks.
