Beef mince simmered with diced onion, rice, shredded cabbage and green beans. This quick and easy dinner is great on a budget and is ready in 40 minutes.
1 small onion, diced
1 tablespoon butter
500g beef mince
2 tablespoons rice
3-4 cups water
1/4 head cabbage, shredded
1 dessertspoon curry powder
1 (400g) tin green beans, drained
1 (45g) packet chicken noodle soup
- Fry onion in butter until it begins to soften. Add the beef mince and fry until browned.
- Stir in rice, water, cabbage, curry powder, green beans and soup packet.
- Cover and simmer for 30 minutes.
