Apple Pear Porridge

    This easy breakfast for four has pear, apple, banana and porridge that is topped with brown sugar, honey, yoghurt and cinnamon. Tastes too good to be porridge.

    Ingredients
    Serves: 4 

    • 2 cups rolled oats
    • 2 cup milk
    • 1 3/4 cup water
    • 1 pear, peeled, cored and diced
    • 1 apple, peeled, cored and diced
    • 1 banana, peeled and sliced
    • 2 teaspoons honey
    • 2 teaspoons brown sugar
    • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
    • 4 tablespoons vanilla yoghurt

    1. In a saucepan add oats, milk, water, pear and apple. Simmer for about 15 minutes, until thickened. Stir in the banana, honey, sugar and cinnamon. Serve with a dollop of yoghurt on top.
