Lamb-Burgers Patties with a Twist

    Serves: 4 

    • half a capsicum, diced
    • half an large onion, diced
    • kalamata olives, chopped
    • 1 egg, lightly beaten
    • mint, finely chopped
    • mixed herbs
    • salt and pepper, to taste
    • 3 cloves of garlic, crushed
    • chilli flakes, to taste
    • 1 tablespoon of wholegrain mustard
    • 500 grams of ground (minced) lamb
    • 3 tablespoons of breadcrumbs
    • olive oil

    Preparation:15min  ›  Cook:10min  ›  Ready in:25min 

    1. In a large bowl, mix all the ingredients (except for the olive oil) really well. Best to use your hands to make sure.
    2. Grab a handful of the mixture and roll into a ball and then flatten it out to make the size of your patties.
    3. Heat olive oil in pan and cook patties over medium heat for 3-4 minutes each side. Let patties drain on paper towels.


    Best served in a burger with salad, cheese, and sour cream.
