Delicious Lamb Burgers

    40 minutes

Took the idea to try and make lamb burgers as I don't eat beef. I have made them for many of my friends and they just want more. With added breadcrumbs and egg to make the burgers moist. Preparation is 10 minutes and cooking time is 30 minutes.

    1. Heat oven to 220 C.
    2. Place beaten eggs in large bowl. With a food processor/blender make bread into breadcrumbs. Add to eggs and mix.
    3. Add lamb into bowl, break into small pieces and mix with egg and breadcrumbs.
    4. Put spring onions, chillis, mint leaves, ginger and cumin into a blender until ingredients are crushed and mixed well.
    5. Season with salt and pepper.
    6. Add to lamb and mix well.
    7. Break into balls and flatten. Generally I get around 9 burgers. Don't worry if they look small they are filling.
    8. Place some tinfoil on the oven shelf to stop dripping. Cook in the oven for 30 minutes remembering to turn half way.
    9. Serve in burger baps with salad of choice.
