Smoked Salmon Omelette

    Delicious smoked salmon, cream cheese, red onion and capers folded inside a fluffy 5 egg omelette that is seasoned with celery salt and chives.

    Serves: 2 

    • 5 eggs
    • 1/4 cup milk
    • 1/2 teaspoon chives
    • salt and pepper, to taste
    • celery salt, to taste
    • 1 tablespoon butter
    • 2 tablespoons cream cheese, cut into cubes
    • 1/4 cup smoked salmon, flaked
    • 2 tablespoons red onion, sliced thin
    • 1 tablespoons pickled capers

    1. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk. Beat in the chives, salt, pepper and celery salt.
    2. In a large frying pan heat the butter. Pour the eggs into the hot frying pan. Cook for about 5-8 minutes on medium then flip over carefully. Cook until egg is cooked though, another 3-5 minutes.
    3. Remove from frying pan and lay flat on a plate. Sprinkle on the cream cheese, salmon, red onion and capers on half only. Fold in half then cut in half to serve.
