This easy loaf is baked with plenty of walnuts. This baked treat is great for afternoon tea with a cup of tea of coffee. Enjoy.
Makes: 1 loaf
1 tablespoon butter
2 tablespoons sugar
1 cup (130g) self raising flour
pinch of salt
milk, to bind
12 walnuts, finely chopped
- Preheat oven to 180 degrees C.
- Cream together butter and sugar. Add egg and beat well. Sift together flour and salt, then stir into the egg mixture. Add walnuts then enough milk to form a medium consistency dough.
- Pour into greased loaf tin and bake in preheated oven until done, about 40 minutes.
