These delicious jam drop biscuits are like a plain biscuit base then filled with your favourite jam and baked until lightly golden. These are great for snacks and gifts.

The Walters

Makes: 20 drops

  • 2 cups (250g) self raising flour
  • 3/4 cup (170g) sugar
  • 130g butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup jam

Preparation:20min  ›  Cook:15min  ›  Ready in:35min 

  1. Beat the butter and sugar together. Beat in egg until well beaten. Add flour. Mix and make into balls as big as walnuts. Press a well in the top and fill with jam.
  2. Preheat oven to 400 degrees C. Line a baking tray with baking paper.
  3. Place on baking tray and bake in preheated oven until done, about 15 minutes.
