BBQ Prawn Kebabs

    These yummy prawn kebabs have prawns marinated in garlic, olive oil and lemon juice then barbecued until cooked through. So simple yet so delicious.

    Makes: 4 kebabs

    • 4 wooden kebab skewers
    • 16 prawns
    • 1 lemon, juiced
    • 2 cloves garlic, minced
    • 1/2 cup olive oil

    1. Soak wooden skewers in water for about 30 minutes. Peel and devein prawns, leaving tails intact. Heat BBQ to high.
    2. Whisk together the lemon juice, garlic and olive oil. Set in prawns and allow to marinate for about 30 minutes. Remove from marinade and place on skewers, 4 per skewer.
    3. Gill on the BBQ until they become pink and no longer translucent, about 3-5 minutes per side.
