    This different way to make hot milk will make you sleepy in no time. I always have it when i can't sleep and it works a treat.

    Ingredients
    Serves: 1 

    • sprinkle of cinnamon
    • 1 cup (250ml) cold milk
    • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
    • 1 teaspoon golden syrup

    Directions
    Preparation:1min  ›  Cook:3min  ›  Ready in:4min 

    1. Sprinkle a little cinnamon on top of a mug of cold milk. Add vanilla essence and golden syrup, mix well and pop in the microwave for approx 3 minutes on high.
    2. When its finished, stir well so that syrup doesn't just stick to the bottom.

    I'm getting sleepy...this is really good and it's a nice quick treat. Mine didn't really need 3 minutes in the microwave so I'd just watch it in there to prevent boil over. - 02 May 2013
