Basil Garlic Bread

    This garlic bread is made with 2 fresh baguettes, softened butter, minced garlic, parsley, fresh basil and pepper. It's wrapped up in tin foil and baked until crispy.

    Makes: 2 loaves

    • 150g butter, softened
    • 4 garlic cloves, minced
    • 2 tablespoons parsley, chopped
    • 1 tablespoon basil, chopped
    • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
    • 2 baguettes

    Preparation:10min  ›  Cook:15min  ›  Ready in:25min 

    1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees C.
    2. In a bowl, mix together the butter, garlic, parsley, basil and pepper. Stir until will mixed.
    3. Cut slits from top to bottom 3/4 of the way through the baguettes, all along the top of the bread (making about 20 slits in each loaf). Using a knife, stuff the butter into the slits.
    4. Wrap in tin foil then bake in the preheated oven for 15- 20 minutes.
