BBQ Beer Pork Chops

    These barbecued pork chops are marinated in pesto genovese, a tinnie of beer, a bit of honey and some long red chillies for an hour then barbecued until tender.

    Serves: 8 

    • 8 pork chops
    • 1 jar (200g) Barilla Pesto Genovese(TM)
    • 1 can light beer
    • 2 teaspoons honey
    • 2 long red chillies, finely chopped with seeds removed

    1. Mix together the pesto, beer, honey and chillies then add in the pork chops. Cover and marinate for at least an hour.
    2. Preheat a barbecue and lightly oil the grate. Remove chops then shake off any additional marinade. Barbecue, turning once, until no longer pink in the centre and juices run clear, about 10 minutes.
