Spicy Kangaroo and Rice

Kangaroo steak diced and fried up in butter until well done. Fried with some chillies, a bit of mushroom and some capsicum. All served over a bed of rice.

Serves: 2 

  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1/2 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 1/3 cup capsicum, diced
  • 1 kangaroo steak, cut into small chunks
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 2 chillies, chopped
  • 1 cup rice

Preparation:15min  ›  Cook:20min  ›  Ready in:35min 

  1. Cook the rice according to the packet directions.
  2. Sauté the mushrooms and capsicum in butter. In another frying pan fry the steak in the butter. Stir in the chillies and cook until steak is cooked to well done.
  3. Serve mushrooms to top of the steak, on a bed of rice.
