Seared Ahi Tuna

    This pan seared ahi tuna is quick and easy to make and is pretty healthy to boot. Brushed with olive oil, sprinkled with pepper then pan seared to rare.

    Serves: 2 

    • 2 fresh ahi tuna steaks
    • 2 tablspoons olive oil
    • fresh ground black pepper

    Preparation:5min  ›  Cook:5min  ›  Ready in:10min 

    1. Heat frying pan to medium high. Brush tuna steaks with olive oil then cover with fresh ground black pepper.
    2. Sear for about a minute each side. The inside will still be rare. Serve with an Asian dipping sauce.
