Zucchini and Bacon Slice

    This yummy zucchini and egg pie makes a choice breakfast, lunch or tea. Baked in the oven with zucchini, onion, bacon, Tasty cheese, eggs and flour.

    Serves: 6 

    • 375g zucchini, grated
    • 1 large onion, diced
    • 3 rashers bacon, diced
    • 1 cup tasty cheese, grated
    • 1 cup self raising flour
    • 1/2 cup oil
    • 5 eggs, lightly beaten
    • salt and pepper, to taste

    Preparation:15min  ›  Cook:40min  ›  Ready in:55min 

    1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees C.
    2. Combine all ingredients in a bowl. Pour into a greased tin or pie plate.
    3. Bake in preheated oven for 40 minutes.

    This was really delicious, but the bacon and onion were a bit on the raw side, so the next time I made it I cooked the bacon and onion in a small frying pan first.  -  05 Jun 2016
