Bacon and Egg Pie Recipe

    This bacon and egg pie is so easy, it practically makes itself.

    Serves: 5 

    • 175g flaky pastry
    • 8 rashers of bacon, cut
    • 6 eggs
    • 1/2 onion, grated
    • salt and pepper to taste

    Preparation:15min  ›  Cook:40min  ›  Ready in:55min 

    1. Roll out half the pastry and line a pie dish.
    2. Cover with bacon pieces. Break in eggs. Add salt, pepper and onion.
    3. Cover with other half of the pastry then bake at 200 degrees C for 30-40 minutes or until golden brown.


    You for a more exciting pie, you can add veges (diced capsicum, asparagus or broccoli) and any seasoning's you like.
