Not sure what to do with all your leftover pasta sauce? This easy recipe makes a mean casserole, using just what you have in your pantry.

Serves: 8 

  • 500g of any pasta (sprials are great)
  • 3 cups of leftover pasta sauce
  • 1 1/2 cups (190g) grated cheese
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese

Preparation:15min  ›  Cook:30min  ›  Ready in:45min 

  1. Boil pasta according to directions on packet.
  2. Mix all pasta, sauce and ricotta together in saucepan. Stir in 1 cup cheese. Put in a casserole dish and top with extra cheese.
  3. Bake uncovered at 180 degrees C for 30 minutes.


You can use any kind of pasta that you have in your pantry and any kind of cheese you have in the fridge. The recipe can easily be cut in half depending on how much sauce you have.
