The quickest and easiest way of cooking silverside. Nine times out of ten dry ginger is on special at most supermarkets.
I add 5 or 6 cloves and a roughly chopped onion to give more flavour, but that's not necessary
Beautiful served with steamed potatoes, carrots, parsnips and peas and a good parsley sauce and wonderful cold in sandwiches
