Festive treats the whole family can enjoy!

Makes: 20 Standard biscuits.

  • 3 1/4 cups self raising flour
  • 1 tbsp ground ginger
  • 1tsp mixed spice
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 60g butter or margarine
  • 4 tbsp golden syrup
  • 1/4 cup milk

Preparation:15min  ›  Cook:15min  ›  Ready in:30min 

  1. Place flour, ground ginger, mixed spice and salt in a large mixing bowl.
  2. Melt sugar, butter, golden syrup and milk together and mix with the dry ingredients (if too crumbly add in a splash more milk).
  3. Knead lightly and roll out the dough untill 1cm thick.
  4. Cut out shapes and bake in a 170c pre-heated oven for 10-15 minutes. Let cool then decorate with your favorite icing and lollies.
