Nicole's Scrummy FlapJack.

    Makes: 12 Slices

    • 4 Cups Rolled oats/porridge oats
    • 1 Cup caster sugar
    • 150g Your choice of dried fruit (Cranberry is my Fav!)
    • 2 Tbsp Honey
    • 250g Margarine/butter

    Preparation:10min  ›  Cook:25min  ›  Extra time:10min cooling  ›  Ready in:45min 

    1. Melt honey & margarine in microwavable bowl, 10 second bursts to prevent boiling, depending on wattage of appliance, should take no longer than 40 seconds in total.
    2. Add to melted mixture your dry ingredients, mix thoroughly.
    3. Press into a greased, medium sized baking dish of your choice (i use a loose bottom cake tin to ensure it comes out in one piece).
    4. Bake at 200 degrees c for 25 mins.
    5. Allow to cool for 10 mins before cutting into slices...... Enjoy with a cuppa =)
