Bratwurst in Guinness

    This is an amazingly good way to prepare bratwurst for the barbecue, deceptive in its simplicity. The only hard thing about it is not drinking the Guinness.

    • 4 bratwurst
    • 1 small bottle Guinness stout
    • 4 cloves garlic, chopped

    1. Prick the bratwurst all over with a fork, place in a bowl or Tupperware container and add the garlic and enough Guinness to cover.
    2. Marinate the bratwurst in the fridge for about a day. The advantage of using Tupperware is that you can shake it up every now and then.
    3. Cook the bratwurst until done on a barbecue or in a heavy frypan.
