A sweet chocolate chip cookie - to have in moderation. I have also used slivered almonds instead of choc chips and it has been sucessful.

I didn't have enough chocolate so replaced about half with macadamias and dried cranberries, plus I used raw sugar and cut it back to 1 cup. I also used regular Nuttelex instead of butter and egg substitute instead of egg, as I'm off dairy and egg as well as wheat. They were still sweet enough, and with the good quality chocolate (dark Lindt!) they were delicious! - 11 Oct 2012
This is an excellent recipe, though the first time I made it without whipping everything together and it spread out into the most delicious slice I have ever had. Now my slice is famous with all my friends! thanks for the great recipes. - 06 Apr 2013
