Cheddar and Salsa Burgers

These burgers are very spicy - I love Tabasco sauce! You can adjust the seasonings to your own taste of course.


Serves: 4 

  • 500g beef mince
  • 4 teaspoons Tabasco (TM)
  • 4 tablespoons salsa
  • 8 slices Cheddar cheese

Preparation:10min  ›  Cook:10min  ›  Ready in:20min 

  1. Preheat barbecue for high heat and lightly oil grate.
  2. Form the beef mince into 4 individual patties.
  3. Cook patties over high heat for 2 to 4 minutes, then flip over.
  4. Top the cooked side of each patty with a dash of Tabasco, a teaspoon of salsa and two slices of Cheddar cheese. Cook for 2 to 4 more minutes or to desired doneness.
