    This is a very easy dish combining steak with capsicum, onions and tomatoes in a creamy sauce. Try serving over rice.

    Serves: 4 

    • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
    • 700g top sirloin - cut into 5cm strips
    • salt to taste
    • ground black pepper to taste
    • garlic powder to taste
    • 1 teaspoon onion powder
    • 1 onion, chopped
    • 1 green capsicum, chopped
    • 2 tomatoes, diced
    • 1 (300g) tin condensed cream of mushroom soup
    • 1 cup (250ml) milk

    1. Heat the vegetable oil in a large frypan over medium heat. Add the sliced sirloin and salt, pepper, garlic powder and onion powder to taste. Stir and saute for 5 to 10 minutes, or until meat is well browned.
    2. Add the onion and saute for 5 more minutes. Then stir in the capsicum, tomatoes, soup and milk. Mix this all together well, reduce heat to low and simmer for 10 to 15 minutes, stirring often.
