    This basic pasta preparation is usually served as a first course in a more elaborate Italian meal. Delicious and simple.

    Serves: 8 

    • 500g spaghettini
    • 180g butter, divided
    • 2 cloves garlic, minced
    • ground black pepper to taste

    1. Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until al dente; drain.
    2. Melt 60g butter in frypan over medium heat. Add garlic and saute for 2 to 3 minutes; remove from heat. Melt the remaining butter in the frypan with the garlic. In a bowl, combine butter with pasta; mix well. Add pepper if you would like.
