    Serves: 4

    • 30g butter
    • 4 thick cut pork chops
    • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper, or to taste
    • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
    • 300ml pure cream

    1. Melt butter in a large frying pan, over medium heat. Season the pork chops with pepper and garlic powder. Fry until no longer pink and the juices run clear, about 20 to 25 minutes. Turn occasionally to brown evenly.
    2. Remove chops to a plate and keep warm. Stir the cream into the frying pan, loosening any bits stuck to the bottom. Stir in blue cheese and cook, stirring constantly until sauce thickens, about 5 minutes. Pour sauce over warm pork chops.

Really nice! I prefer my sauces a bit thicker so I thickened mine with coconut flour (gluten/grain free) and it was really nice. There's even leftovers and I can't wait to have them!  -  19 Jun 2013

Used different ingredients. This was very good. I substituted the 1 cup of whipping cream and 2oz. blue cheese with 1/2 cup of milk and 1/2 cup blue cheese dressing. Turned out great!  -  29 Sep 2008

Excellent recipe. The gravy was very tasty - you must enjoy blue cheese, of course. I added about a tablespoon of flour to help the gravy thicken. Very fast and simple to prepare. I served it with rice and green beans. I'm already looking forward to the leftovers!  -  29 Sep 2008
