This is my standard white bread that I make in the bread machine. It stays fresh longer than any other recipe I have tried.
This is basically the same as my recipe - I use 1 cup plain Spelt flour to 2 cups wholemeal Spelt flour. It's a wonderful loaf. You can use any combination of plain to wholemeal, it just changes the height of the loaf. I break and egg into a measuring jug and fill it up to 290ml and then beat the egg into the water. Then I add the milk powder, salt, oil and pour into baking dish. Then add the flour and yeast. - 24 Jan 2015
Outstanding! Increased sugar to 1/3 cup and that was perfect. I didn't have powdered milk so I cut water to slightly over 3/4 cup and added 1/4 cup milk. Chose light crust setting. Came out perfect. Will definitely make again! - 24 Jul 2004 (Review from Allrecipes USA and Canada)
I am a first time bread maker user and I made three other loafs from different recipes, I have two door stops and a rock, So when i found this one I just had to try it, I made it to the recipe it looks and smells good just have to wait for it to cool now to taste ,,,Well tasted it and wow its great will make this again ,,, Still making this bread to recipe trying now with 2 cup of white flour and 1 cup of whole wheat - 10 Feb 2008 (Review from Allrecipes USA and Canada)
