    This is a no-fail recipe for making a quick and tasty side dish for any sort of meat. Add some garlic if you like.

    Serves: 5 

    • 250g wide egg noodles
    • 125g butter
    • 1/2 cup (125ml) thickened cream
    • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
    • 1 tablespoon dried parsley
    • 1/4 teaspoon salt
    • ground black pepper to taste

    1. Cook noodles according to packet directions.
    2. Meanwhile, heat butter or margarine and cream in a small saucepan over low heat until butter or margarine is melted. Stir in cheese, parsley, and salt and pepper; keep warm over low heat.
    3. Drain pasta. Toss with sauce to coat.
