Mustard and Honey Barbecue Sauce

    7 minutes

This is a great way to finish of a dish of sauteed pork or beef. The base is mustard, not the normal tomato sauce.

Used different ingredients. This is a great base sauce for pork. My personal taste leans towards something with more bite, so I add a hint of Worchestershire saucea, garlic powder, cayenne and chipotle pepper. The smoky flavour of the chipotle really accents the mustard/vinegar base!  -  29 Sep 2008

Something else. I served the sauce over a pork sandwich (made from loin) with toasted bun and coleslaw on top! You made me look like a star! colour and favor were spot on! Thanks!  -  29 Sep 2008

This recipe is a little different to what I know, we use apple cider vinegar and less honey  -  29 Sep 2008
