    It's very fast and easy to make your own chocolate caramel bars. These go very fast whenever I make them.

    Serves: 15 

    • 500g caramels
    • 2 1/2 cups (60g) Rice Bubbles(TM)
    • 1 cup (150g) chopped peanuts
    • 2 cups milk chocolate chips

    Preparation:10min  ›  Cook:10min  ›  Extra time:4hours chilling  ›  Ready in:4hours20min 

    1. In the microwave or in a saucepan over medium heat melt caramels, stirring frequently until smooth. Stir in the Rice Bubbles and peanuts. Spread the mixture out to an even thickness onto a buttered baking tray. Set aside to cool.
    2. In the microwave or in a metal bowl over a pan of simmering water melt chocolate chips, stirring frequently until smooth. Remove from heat. Spread over the cooled caramel slab. Chill to set then cut into squares or bars.
