    This is a great meat filling for a sandwich or roll. Try this as an alternative to hot dogs or hamburgers - it's easy and delicious.

    Serves: 6 

    • 500g lean beef mince
    • 1 1/2 cups (375ml) beer
    • 1 teaspoon salt
    • 1 teaspoon white sugar
    • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
    • 2 teaspoons mustard

    1. In a medium frypan over medium heat cook the beef mince until evenly browned; drain.
    2. Stir in beer, salt, sugar, pepper and mustard. Bring to a boil and reduce heat to low; simmer partially covered. Remove from heat the moment all the liquid has evaporated.
