Here's an amazingly simple pasta bake that has a hearty Italian flavour. Best served with a simple salad and lots of garlic bread.


Serves: 6 

  • 1 cup penne pasta
  • 2 cup seashell pasta
  • 750g lean beef mince
  • 125g grated Cheddar cheese
  • 125g grated mozzarella cheese
  • 125g sliced pepperoni
  • 1kg pizza sauce
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Preparation:15min  ›  Cook:45min  ›  Ready in:1hour 

  1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees C. Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add penne and seashell pasta and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until al dente; drain.
  2. In large frypan cook beef mince over medium-high heat until brown. Drain.
  3. In large casserole dish combine pasta, beef mince, cheddar, mozzarella, pepperoni and pizza sauce, stir well. Sprinkle Parmesan over all and bake 45 minutes or until top is golden and bubbly.
